Brent emailed us this sweet picture of his first baptisms. On April 11th Brent was able to baptise Mary Sanchez and Andy Mendez. His companion, Elder Java, baptised Andy's brother, Jonathan Mendez and a man by the name of Nilton Flores. What a happy Saturday that was. He says that there are other baptisms coming up! He is excited to baptise people in the river that flows through the village. It looks kind of scary to me.I was so worried and felt bad for Brent that his mission is so tough, but every email that we receive is confirmation to me that he is adjusting and loving it.
(Sorry about the pictures . . . I have no idea why I wasn't able to drag them to the appropriate place in my blog - any suggestions from anyone?)

Those are the most choice pictures a mother could receive! I continue to be so amazed at the primitive area he is in but how marvelously he is doing. He is a missionary with a true heart!

Sorry, had to delete that last one because it was for the wrong post. You do have an awesome missionary. Exciting stuff going on.
