I have heard this question a few times and yes, it does rain in Arizona. Not very often, but we do occasionally get some moisture.
Last week we got more than a little . . . it poured! I got home from work just before it hit. The sky was black and the wind had picked up a little. Luckily we did not have the dust storm that usually comes with the rain and it was really pretty nice. It rained all through dinner and afterwards I announced that I was going outside to play in it and did anyone want to join me? Doug and Brent just looked at me like I was crazy (which I am) and I did not get any offers.
So I changed clothes and ran outside to play in the gutter and have fun. It was freezing. I slipped around and as neighbors drove by (pointing & laughing) I continued splashing around. I'm sure it looked weird, but I know they all really wanted to stop their cars and join me.
Here I am wet & cold!

Glad you have the spirit to do whatever you want to do. One of the reasons I love you so much! Hyrum would have joined you...he loves the rain and thinks we should all be out there playing in it.
How fun! I was out in the rain on Sunday. A micro-burst hit over our house and it poured for a good 20 minutes. Bridgette and I walked around in it, under an umbrella. I love the rain!!! There is nothing better than hearing that on the roof/windows and that smell. Love it!

It's raining here in Southern Utah! My freshman son, Dakota was out doing football practice with his team in the rain today. I kept thinking, "He'll run to this car if he gets too wet and tired!" Nope- he just got mad that I was watching :)
