Spring Cleaning

I like the words "SPRING CLEANING". Whenever I hear them I instantly think of organization; clean; out with the old, in with the new, fresh; etc. It also means a lot of work, but once you dive into a closet, a drawer or a room and really start applying the basic Spring cleaning details, man it is instant gratification. I have a lot of Spring cleaning to do within my home and it probably will take me until this Summer to get it all done. I have the office area to clean, drawers in my bedroom, Brent's room (major danger zone), my craft hut, garage cabinets, the list goes on and on.

I think there is another area that I need to concentrate in this Spring Cleaning frenzie more . . . my personnal life. I need to start weeding out the old habits. I'm pretty lazy. Some of you might not think so, but I'm afraid I am guilty of living with this 4-letter word ~~ Lazy. I'm lazy in my overall health. I really don't floss as much as I should. (Stop laughing, this is a serious thing - right Aaron?) I don't exercise enough - well, actually I don't exercise at all. I don't get enough sleep. I'm starting to think I need more than 4 hours. I really don't eat the best things and of course I think my body is starting to show it. I thought I could survive on Kit Kats and chocolate donuts, but I'm afraid I was wrong. So I'm going to start Spring Cleaning tomorrow. Not just the inside of my home, but inside of me. Just like it takes a long time to deep clean the house and throw out some of the old stuff, I'll be busy cleaning out the yucky stuff in my life. Not sure if anyone will notice any huge change in me, but I'm hoping that I will.

Now first thing on the list is get the Easter candy out of the house . . . . mmmm, seems like a waste of money to just throw it out like it was garbage, right? Didn't I say I was going to start the Spring cleaning tomorrow??!! Where's my chocolate bunny??

I'm sorry if you think I'm calling you a liar- but you're a liar!!! you are not lazy at all- working a 50 hour work week and keeping a home and family happy and doing your calling to the fulest and then some!! AND your house is ALWAYS clean! I know, i lived there. So don't be so hard on yourself and sit back and enjoy your chocolate!

No harm in a chocolate bunny every once in a while. But whatever makes you feel better and more alive. Good luck with the work and let us know how it goes.
