Feed My Sheep

When you read this blog you might definetely say I'm crazy, but I don't care. I teach Primary and I love it!! I teach the CTR A, which are the 7 year olds turning 8. I have 7 in my class each Sunday, and occasionally we have 3 extra children when they visit their grandparents (which seems to be a lot of the time). The more, the merrier I say. I have been teaching for . . . . well a long time and so I have a lot of cute ideas and handouts. Well I was in a store in Tempe one day during my lunch hour, about 3 or 4 days after Easter, and I ran into a great deal. Take a look at my flock of sheep.

Are they the cutest things??? Now, what is the deal? They were only $1.00 each!!!! I know, I almost went crazy too! I bought all that they had. They were originally $7.99 each (who would buy them for that much?) I will be teaching a lesson in about 5 weeks about Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd. I love that story. I love teaching the children that Jesus loves them and even if one of his children becomes lost, he wants to find them and bring them back into the fold, just like a shepherd gathers his flock of sheep and worries about each one of them.

I can't wait to give them to the children.

LUCKY! I wish I had a hit a deal like that - did you get all they had left?

You are like the greatest primary teacher in AMERICA! Those kids are so stickin' lucky. Having children now - I realize what an important thing primary teachers really are and how much of a sacrifice they make. WATCH OUT! Primary President on the way!
