Ah, I've turned into Homer Simpson . . . "Mmmm...Forbidden Doughnuts". My favorite doughnut place has reopened . . . YES!!! Krispy Kreme. The other night we ate out and I said to Doug, "I feel like I need a doughnut (doesn't everyone say this at least once in your life?) Let's find the Krispy Kreme place and treat ourselves". Well it didn't take to much begging (the man loves doughnuts too and it helps that we were in the neighborhood) and we were off. As we were driving I was trying to rationalize it by saying we could see where Melissa worked, where their new townhome was going to be and see the dental school. You know, one grand sweep, but seriously all I cared about was getting a hot, fresh doughnut. If you haven't tried one you are missing a great treat. They are so airy and light and just plain good. Oh and to get a warm one is even better. I think if I ever leave the legal field I would love to work at Krispy Kreme . . . making the doughnuts.Friday, May 30, 2008

Not a big doughnut fan. I guess that is a good thing since I am a fan of everything else and it shows.

mmmm...sacralicious! We had one the other night too. Pretty dang good, although I think they were more sweet then I remember them being. I hope it is just a fluke.
This is Britt! I thought you were on a diet? You sound like my mom. haha! We have a Krispy Kreme here in Tokyo but the lines are ALWAYS an hour long, every day!

Hey...Today is National Doughnut Day. Maybe an extra trip out to celebrate is in order.
