This little guy's name is Sid (well that's the name I gave him). He followed me everywhere at the cabin recently. Probably because I had the shelled peanuts. We were trying to help my brother-in-law put a sealer on his massive deck, which wraps around the cabin, but my attention was on this little guy. He would grab a peanut and rather than sit there, crack it open and have himself a little treat, he would pop it in his mouth and run out into the forest to his house. Then he would be back, begging me for more and start the process all over again. I'm sure he was just working on his food storage - getting ready for the cold winter. Squirrels are pretty smart (and cute).

you're "nuts"!!! ...........Get it?!!!
I want a Sid.
Sid is wise. He is building is food storage!
My sister Gena would not agree that he is cute. Sid's Colorado cousins made their way into her attic and caused her hundreds of dollars of repairs and had to be humanely trapped and hauled away!
My Sarah would not agree either. One Christmas during her mission we sent her a package of her favorite holiday treats and while she and her companion were out tracting, one of Sid's New York cousins tore open the box and helped himself to A LOT of goodies! He was braze enough to be there when she returned too!
