I love him so much . . . . He is my very best friend. I trust him with my life.He is so talented. I don't think there is anything that he can't do. Seriously! He can fix anything that is broken and he can build anything. Drive by my house some day and see for yourself the biggest example of his talents. He helped build it. He did all of the electrical, the brick work on our beautiful fireplace, the brick fence surrounding the house and well the landscaping is unbelieveable.
He is funny too. He might not look it, but he is one funny man. He comes up with some off the wall stuff - very entertaining.
He is one terrific Dad. He loves our children so very much. He has been an "hands on Dad" ~ always there for each one of them 120%.
There is a lot more I could say ~ but I don't want to embarrass him. I am just so grateful that he asked me to marry him 31 years ago and that our lives are so blessed. He is just such a sweet, kind, gentle man! I'm not sure why I got to be so lucky!

You got to be so lucky because Doug is a smart man! He found the perfect girl for him!
(He was always one of my favorite cousins to play with...he always shared his toys...even if Aunt Lora had to persuade him a little!)
seriously!! there isn't words to describe how I feel about him! The most trustworthy man I know (along with Aaron) I love this post and it made me cry really hard. Love ya Dad
